Elijah Alford: A Musical Transfer Student Success Story
Elijah Alford is currently attending Valdosta State University and plans to graduate in spring 2024 with a Bachelor of Arts with a Major in Music (Education Track). Elijah's advice to those who would like to return to college to complete a degree is to take advantage of conversations with advisors.
Elijah was studying agriculture at Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College when he spoke to his advisor. When she found out that he really loved music, she suggested he take some music classes to see if he would prefer to get a degree in music. Elijah took her advice and it changed the trajectory of his college career.
